Similar to the U-light, I expanded the area of veneer to stress on the beauty of natural wood grain.

The Wood Light has a piece of Waterjet Cut metal sheet inside, attaching to the veneer. It is a Chinese landscape painting cut on the metal sheet: the natural wood grain remains me of the Chinese Fine Brushwork painting.

There’s a remote to control the LED light inside. You can enjoy the beautiful wood grain when the light is off, or turn the light on and interact with the handle to see the shadow changing with the LED light. If you rotate the handle you will see that the shadow projected on the veneer surface is fading away while the new shadow is rising at the same time.
